Quick & Easy Pickled Onions

On Monday mornings, I try to do my best to take some time and clean up the house for the week and prep some food for smooth and easy meal times. It seems like for the last little while I find myself making these super quick & easy pickled onions every week!

Like seriously, we are obsessed with them.

We put them on everything, tacos, eggs, sandwiches, nachos, greek food, and plenty of other foods!

I wanted to share my really quick & easy 5 ingredient pickled onion recipe that takes only a few minutes to prepare and is ready to eat in just four hours!

Quick & Easy Pickled Onions

The quickest and easiest way to pickle onions, ready in just a few hours!

Total Time 4 hours 5 minutes

Equipment

  • 1 Large Air-Tight Jar ( I use 32oz) Scroll Down To "Shop The Post" For The Exact Jars I Use

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Large Red Onion
  • 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Water

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice your onion and add to your empty jar
  • Mix apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt & warm water together until everything is dissolved
  • Pour over the onions into your jar, and give it a quick stir to make sure that onions are completely submerged in water
  • Close the jar and place in the fridge for 4 hours
  • Enjoy on your favorite foods!

Notes

These should stay fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 weeks, but I’m pretty sure they won’t last that long!
